OUR CLASSES

This course provides first responders with training in basic first aid skills recommended by OSHA. Subjects covered include: first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergengies.

This course teaches participants the basic skills of child and infant CPR. Subjects covered include: infant CPR and choking, child CPR/AED and choking.

This course teaches child care providers, parents, grandparents, educators and others the critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries of an infant or child in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Subjects covered include: finding the problem, stopping bleeding/bandaging, using an

epinephrine pen.

SKILLS PRACTICE/TESTING
FOR ONLINE CLASSES

This option allows the participant to take the course online and arrange a convenient time with an instructor to practice skills with equipment and then test those skills to complete the certification. 

This course is designed to teach  participants the basics of CPR using the practice-while-watching format. Subjects covered includes: adult "hands only" CPR/AED, child CPR/AED, infant CPR, choking for adult, child and infant.

This course is designed to provide a variety of certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed, healthcare professionals with the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced lifesaving measures. Subjects covered include: adult and pediatric CPR, two-rescurer scenarios, the use of a bag-valve mask, choking (conscious and unconscious), adult and pediatric AED, special resuscitation situations, stroke/cardiac arrest/other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

 

BLS HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

FIRST AID

This course combines basic CPR skills training with instruction and practice in using the AED. Subjects covered include: adult CPR/AED with and without a mask, adult choking.

ADULT CPR/AED

This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site specific training. Subjects covered include: what bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread, how to protect oneself from exposure, how to clean oneself and area of exposure, how to report any exposure to blood or blood containing materials in the workplace.
